Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible individual to join our team as a Security Guard. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. This is a full-time position with various shifts available.
Duties:
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security and prevent unauthorized access
- Patrol premises regularly to ensure the safety of all individuals on-site
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms to identify potential security threats
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Write reports on incidents, accidents, or suspicious activities
- Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and safety
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment, fire extinguishers, and emergency exits
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not required
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment is desirable
- Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations effectively
- Excellent surveillance skills to identify potential security risks
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques is an asset
